The Miami GP will join the 2022 Formula 1 calendar after signing a 10-year deal on Sunday.

The race will be held at the Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Miami Dolphins.

36 different layouts have been simulated in the Miami gardens over the last two years before deciding on the current version below.

Miami will join Austin as the second race in the United States in the calendar year, making it the 11th circuit that Formula 1 has raced in its history.

The circuits expected to have a top speed of 320km/h, with 19 corners being compared to the Albert Park circuit in Australia. Specifically designed to encourage overtaking opportunities as three DRS zones have been proposed before turn one, 11 and 17.

The street circuit will be relatively flat, with few elevation changes at turns 13 and 16.

It is currently unknown what date the race will be held in 2022, with the proposed calendar expected to be realised towards the end of the current season.
